Our team has participated in project finance transactions involving structured financing, local and international capital markets, domestic transactions based on BNDES and BNB onlending and the issuance of letters of credit, financings by other Brazilian agencies,  and funding through multilaterals, export credit agencies and other international lenders.

 

We also have a strong track record in project development, covering corporate structuring such as joint ventures, as well as the drafting and negotiation of underlying agreements such as EPCs, offtake agreements, supply agreements and other contractual arrangements required for large projects.

 

Our Project Finance and Infrastructure Team works in coordination with the firm’s tax, environmental, real estate and labor departments to ensure all angles of any project are adequately covered.

 

We also rely on our expertise in public law and regulations for all infrastructure sectors in Brazil and have extensive experience in advising local and foreign companies in participating in public tender processes and privatization processes.
