Bruno has worked in recent years representing sponsors and financial institutions operating in the infrastructure sector in highly complex financial operations, including debt restructuring, as well as mergers and acquisitions in the local or international market, as local counsel. Bruno also works in the project development area, having extensive experience in assisting in the structuring of infrastructure projects and with offtake, EPC, O&M contracts, equipment supply, among others.

  • Advised agents and ALB Lenders as Brazilian attorneys on the restructuring of the approximately US$700 million project financing of three drillships, owned by subsidiaries of Constellation Amaralina Star Ltd., Laguna Star Ltd. and BravaStar Ltd. This transaction was awarded “Restructuring Deal of the Year” by Latin Lawyer. 

  • Advised the Engie/CDPQ consortium on the acquisition of Transportadora Associada de Gás – TAG from Petrobras, including local and international acquisition finance. Operation worth approximately R$34 billion. This transaction won awards for “Cross-border M&A Deal of the Year”, “O&G Financing Deal of the Year”, “M&A (Private) Deal of the Year”, “LatAm Deal of the Year” and “Deal of the Year” by Latin Finance, Latin Lawyer, Thompson Reuters and IFLR. 

  • Advised the coordinators on the local debenture offering of UTE GNA I Geração de Energia S.A., with the objective of refinancing debts contracted with the IFC, in the amount of R$ 1.8 billion. He also acted as local counsel for KfW-IPEX in the transaction, co-creditor of the debenture holders. This transaction was awarded “Refinancing Deal of the Year” by Latin Finance. 

  • Advised the Petrorio group and the coordinators on offerings of notes in the international market and of debentures with incentives in Brazil, this being the first issuance of an oil company in Brazil, in projects that together exceed R$4 billion.

  • Regularly advises Equatorial Energia, Vast, GALP, Energisa, EDF, among others, on electric energy auctions and in the development of projects, as well as in the negotiation of projects implementation contracts for such clients.
