Vilmar works in real estate and agribusiness transactions, structuring acquisitions, leases, real estate developments, constructions, land parceling for residential purposes, guarantees, agrarian contracts, and agribusiness financing transactions. Vilmar is especially recognized for his experience in rural property acquisitions (including for carbon and energy projects) and private real estate developments in public areas.

Member of the Agribusiness Law Commission of the Brazilian Institute of Business Law – IBRADEMP.

  • Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B.) from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP).

  • Postgraduate Degree in Tax from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP).

  • Postgraduate Degree in Real Estate Law from Escola Paulista de Direito (EPD).

  • Postgraduate Degree in Agricultural and Agribusiness Law from Fundação Escola Superior do Ministério Público (FMP).

EDUCATION

  • Advised Orascom Investment, based in Egypt, on the sale of commercial units of the Pátio Malzoni Building, located in the city of São Paulo/SP, for R$ 427 MM.

  • Advised XP Investimentos on acquiring and leasing a property with a logistical destination in São Paulo/SP valued at approximately R$ 500 MM.

​

  • Advised Brookfield Asset Management on a bidding process conducted by the Concessionária do Aeroporto Internacional de Guarulhos S.A. for the construction and operation of logistics warehouses in the Guarulhos International Airport area, with a value of approximately R$ 400 MM.

  • Advised Tower Capital, ICH Hotéis e Praias Incorporadora e Construtora on a bidding process conducted by the Concessionária do Aeroporto Internacional de Guarulhos S.A. for the construction and operation of a hotel in the Guarulhos International Airport area, with a value of approximately R$ 100 MM.

  • Advised Brasilagro – Companhia Brasileira de Propriedades Agrícolas on the acquisition of a rural property in the State of Mato Grosso, with a total area of ​​10.8 thousand hectares, with a value of approximately R$ 285.6 MM.
