After approximately two years of its approval by the European Parliament, the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union) came into force last Friday, May 25, 2018. ) (GDPR), relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.
