On 08/21/2023, an opinion was presented by the Senate Environment Committee regarding Bill No. 412/2022, which seeks to regulate the Brazilian Emissions Reduction Market (MBRE). On the same date, the CVM published a notice for public consultation on Technical Guidance OCPC 10, which aims to standardize accounting criteria and the legal nature of decarbonization credits.
