CMN and BACEN regulate Open Banking

On May 4, 2020, the National Monetary Council (“CMN”) and the Central Bank of Brazil (“BACEN”) respectively issued Joint Resolution No. 1 (“Joint Resolution No. 1”) and Circular No. 4,015 (“Circular BACEN nº 4,015”), which regulate open banking in Brazil (“Open Banking” or “Open Financial System”).
