ANTT advances in regulating the application and granting of authorization to operate railways

Last week, the National Land Transport Agency (“ANTT”) published Resolution No. 5,987, of September 1, 2022 (“ANTT Resolution No. 5,987/2022”), which regulates the administrative process for requesting exploration of new railways, new railway yards and other accessory facilities upon authorization, in accordance with art. 25 of Law No. 14,273, of December 23, 2021.
